In the epic agro-ecological Ugaritic myth of Baal and Anat, she adorned herself with henna in a metaphor for the wheat harvest for the destruction of the god Mot, the god of summer heat, and all of his followers. In the Ugaritic metaphor, the wheat harvest, the destruction of Mot, Anat prepared herself for a celebration for Mot, the god of summer heat.
