Ancient Sunrise® Clarity, Cassia auriculata Cassia auriculata and Cassia obovata are two different plants which have different characteristics when applied to hair. Powders of the dried leaves of both plants can be wetted, made into pastes, and applied to hair to improve the luster and strength. Cassia obovata is native to and grown commercially in hot, dry areas of Africa and is in decreasing economic production. Cassia auriculata is native to India and has largely been substituted for obovata in hair care supplies. These are tested on white, unpigmented hair to most easily visualize the color difference. Cassia obovata stains white hair a soft wheat color. Read more:http://www.hennaforhair.com/faq/Clarity_cassia-auriculata.pdf |

Looking Back and Looking Forward In the summer of 2017, we began The Ancient Sunrise® Blog and The Becoming Moonlight® Blog. The idea started out with a simple question: How could we educate more people about the science and art of henna?
