If you are looking for ayurvedic herbs for lice, we recommend using artemisia or fenugreek.
Herbs for Scents
Ginger Root Powder
Add
Ginger Root Powder to henna to soften or eliminate the lingering henna scent. Mix 1 Tablespoon of ginger powder to 100g Henna paste after dye releasing.
Cardamom Seed Powder
Add Cardamom Seed Powder to henna for spicy, fragrant hair. Mix 1 Tablespoon of cardamom powder to 100g Henna paste after dye releasing.
Ayurvedic Herbs for Lice
Fenugreek Seed Powder
Fenugreek Seed Powder has been demonstrated to be highly effective against head lice when mixed with body art quality henna and applied to the hair as henna hair dye.
Mix 25 g of fenugreek seed powder with each 100g of henna.
Artemisia
Artemisia has been shown to completely eradicate of head lice in severe infestations when combined with with body art quality henna and applied to the hair as henna hair dye.
Mix 25 g of artemisia with each 100g of henna.
Do not ingest Artemisia. Do not use Artemisia on pregnant or nursing mothers.
